The World is One Country——Middle School Cultural Bazaar

On May 30th, the long-awaited cultural bazaar arrived. We need to thank the History and Geography teachers for this idea. Before the end of the last semester, a total of 22 classrooms chose their country by lottery. Every classroom had a Geography or History teacher to help and during the winter break, students needed to look for information and think about an activity.

We were able to learn about any country just by visiting its booth. For example, at the Italy booth, you could look at the artworks made during the Renaissance period, and you could even see how many artworks you could name. You could buy a Venetian mask, or even design one by yourself. Pizza, spaghetti, ice cream, and strawberry drinks were all there– I’m sure that you would have loved it. 2 hours, 22 countries and more than 130 booths.

Cultural Bazzar showed us the world. As we left, we were thinking about the responsibility of being a global citizen.

2 hours, and you showed me the world. Cultural bazaar, what an amazing experience!
