Grade 9:Monopoly Day

During CAS class on the afternoon of Wednesday, March 29th , Grade 9 and 10 students gathered excitedly in the Zhongxing annex lobby for the start of Monopoly Day. In this activity, students became buyers, sellers, and judges and imitated a market. They earned “money” by completing challenges or performing talents, and spent this “money” in the market. There were many different ways to earn “money”: by dancing, singing, doing pushups, playing basketball, or throwing darts. At the same time, the stands were also very popular: there were food stalls, a VR experience, home-made drinks, home-made bread, home-made pancakes, and also the selling of cups and tiramisu. There was barely a student that did not taste these delicious foods, and the teachers were delighted by the eagerly participating students. Of course, we must thank our peers that sacrificed their free time for our benefit, and the photographers that recorded our happy times. This event successfully stimulated student interest in economics, and we anticipate more fun subject days like this in the future.
