First Graders Tried QingHua Style Painting During Chinese Culture Week

In Chinese class on March 29th, all the first graders tried to paint Qinghua style on five different items, as part of Chinese Culture Week in SHSID’s Primary School Division. The students put a lot of love and effort into designing their own unique Qinghua style patterns.

The teachers also introduced the students to this unique style of traditional Chinese art, and explained it in great detail. All the students were very interested, asking the teachers lots of different questions.

Later, all the students tried developing their own Qinghua style on five different items such as fans, phone covers, paper plates, cloth bags and white T-shirts. All the teachers were surprised by the students’ fascinating art work.

Hopefully every first grader is going to enjoy all the following activities during this special week.
