Cultural Bazaar: A Festival for Foodies

If you are a foodaholic, then you must not miss the Grade 7 and 8 Cultural Bazaar. Here is a route for you to taste all the food you dream of on campus.

First, come to the Singapore stand, and take a bite or two of the famous “Hainan Chicken Rice”. Don’t appreciate rice? No problem, not far away is India stand, selling traditional Naan Bread. Going forward a few steps more, girls wearing Kimono are selling Udon noodles, and sautéed rice noodles are sold in the Thai stand… any kind of main dish you can think of is available for you in the Cultural Bazaar. After the main dish, would you like to have some snacks? The Korea stand is selling Kimchi, rice rolls, and fried chicken. How about fried chicken with beer? Nope, you’re not 18 yet, but there is sparkling apple juice at the Italian stand. If you still think all these are quite common, then shut your eyes tight. Know something about Swedish meatballs? And stinking Surstromming? Fufu from Ghana? What are these? Come and find out yourself. Remember there is still Mexican Guacamole, which you serve yourself DIY. Holding coconut juice in your left hand, an ice sugar gourd in your right hand, and taking a few bites of an apple pie; you ask yourself: where the hell is this place?

This is Cultural Bazaar of SHSID’s Middle School! Held in the afternoon of March the 30th, and only once per year! Aren’t you coming?
