Cultural Bazaar: date with the world
Cultural Bazaar: date with the world
Thousands of flags flutter, and different cultures linger. Imagine yourself standing in front of sublime Italian art, just to enjoy the visual feast brought by the Renaissance, and to feel the power impact brought about by the dawn of humanism. Picture yourself dancing with the intense beat made by an African hand drum, to release your inner impulses, and to seek the freedom of your soul. In the exciting lion dance, we look back upon ancient Chinese civilization and culture. In soccer games, we discover the spirit of humankind. This is our Middle School cultural bazaar. Let's widen our hearts, and embrace the world!
This is a paradise of worldwide cuisines. You can help yourself to make a Mexican taco, you can taste wonderful Swedish meatballs, and you can take on the Korean Kimchi. To eat an Indian Roti Prata, to choose any candy you like, to buy a large hot dog...what joy! Too greasy? It's fine, just get some sugarcoated hawthorns on a stick to help your digestion, or even eat a cup of ice cream to cool yourself down.
This is a sanctuary for world culture. You are always welcome to hit a Mexican piñata, to check out the Thai boxing performance, to participate in the football freestyle, to challenge the gladiators, and to learn different languages from different countries. Want to know your archery ability level? Draw the bow and try! Want to send out a postcard to a friend? We can help you! Want to build a model of the New Swan Castle? It's your freedom! Want to have hennas on your arm like an Indian bride? Here's your chance!
Mexico, Italy, Korea, Thailand, Peru, Nigeria, Sweden, Brazil, China, Egypt, India, Ghana, Germany, the USA, Columbia, Russia, Singapore, Australia, Cuba, Argentina, Turkey, and Japan. We have 22 country booths, and you're always welcome!
March 30th, Thursday afternoon: we will see you there!
