Grade 9：College counselling course（4）College Planning Timeline

During the last period of Tuesday March 21st, 9th grade students gathered in the Xian Mian auditorium to listen to a college counseling lecture given by Ms. Nan Zhang. Under her effective organization, the auditorium quieted down, and the class monitors passed down college planning calendars to every student. Ms. Nan Zhang relayed to us the materials required for college applications and also the process of application. She also mentioned that the University of Pennsylvania, the dream school for many students, does not accept IELTS scores. The teacher also said that as a student, one’s duty is to learn well in school courses, and that extracurricular activities cannot help us get the grades we need, so we will have to weight studying more heavily than extracurricular activities in order to work towards our dream schools.
