Grade 12: Pi Day
On March 15th, during the CAS in SHSID, we cerebrated Pi-day by eating free pizzas, singing songs in front of people, playing dodgeball with teams, and playing math games such as Buffon’s Needle Problem and the 24-point game. Many students engaged in completing ‘Pi-Quest’, where one must find Pi signs around campus, and then piece operations and numbers together and get close to 3141. The winners– those who successfully finished the Pi-Quest—gained a chance to spin a ;math roulette’ and a chance to get extra points on the math exam!
