Puxi Grade 1: Made Fossils in Science Class

During Science class on March 15th, all the first graders made “fossils” with clay. First they went outdoors to pick tree leaves with different shapes. Then they pressed the leaves into soft clay to leave the marks in the clay. Later, when the clay is dry, the marks of the leaves will be left inside the clay. The Science teacher taught the students about fossils. All the first graders had great fun and learned about fossils in an impressive way. Every student loved this Science class so much!
