Primary SPrimary Section: Dr. Seuss’s Week - Crazy Hat Day

From March 6th to March 10th, all the Primary Section teachers and students spent the whole week studying a great American writer who wrote many fabulous children’s books. To show respect to Dr. Seuss and encourage the students to read more wonderful books, the English teachers in the Primary Section came up with many creative activities which were all related to the famous books written by Dr. Seuss.

On March 6th, everybody, including teachers and students, wore their own ‘crazy hats’ to school. In English class and recess time, the students read Dr. Seuss’ famous bookThe Cat in The Hatwith their teachers and made a “The Cat in The Hat” paper craft in memory of this great book which has brought great joy to so many children around the world.

There will be many other fun activities and books waiting for the students in the following four days. Everybody is looking forward to it!
