Pudong Grade 5: Amazing Chinese Charecters

During the P&B class of March 7th, the fifth graders of Pudong campus had a special activity with Ms. Wang, their special guest, who studies Chinese characters. We all use Chinese characters every day and could not be more familiar with them. However, rare can we answer the questions about the original meanings of these characters, or the relationship between the meaning of a character and how it is written. Ms. Wang explained the link between the meaning and the look of Chinese characters and the logic behind them. We gained a better understanding of not only these characters, but also the wisdom of Chinese culture after this activity.
