Primary Section: Dr Seuss Week - We Will Have Character Day

On Thursday March 9th , our students in Grade 2 dressed up like different Dr. Seuss characters. Students from class 2(1) all dressed up like Thing 1 and Thing 2 from the bookCat in the Hat. All of the students had a lot of fun throughout the day. Some of the other classes from Grade 2 dressed up like Cat in the Hat from the book Cat in the Hat. During our Personal Growth time our students did a reader’s theater over the The Lorax and ate cake. All of the students enjoyed eating cake and watching other students act out The Lorax. The Lorax chronicles the unfortunate situation of our environment, and The Lorax speaks for the trees to save them. All of the students loved the play.
