Primary Section: Dr. Seuss Week - Wacky Socks Day

Week 4, from March 6th to March 10th was Dr. Seuss Week for SHSID’s Primary Section. It was held to celebrate the amazing children's author Dr. Seuss’s birthday. Throughout the whole week, the students and the teachers together enjoyed a variety of activities and had a lot of fun!

Wednesday was Wacky Socks Day. Students were supposed to wear their silliest socks to celebrate the classic book Fox in Socks. A lot of children wore funky socks on this day. Some girls wore colorful tights, while some boys wore mismatched socks to show creativity. The students sat happily together and the teachers took a photo of all the socks. It was so cool.

By holding these interesting activities, we hope our kids came to aware that everyone in the world is unique and irreplaceable. Just as Dr. Seuss said, today you are you! That is truer than true! There is no one alive that is you-er than you!
