College Counselling Course (III) - How to prepare for PSAT and Pre-ACT
College Counselling Course (III) - How to prepare for PSAT and Pre-ACT
On the last class of March 7th, a SAT and ACT lecture was held in Xian Mian Tang Auditorium. The lecture started with the introduction of the preSAT and the preACT. The preSAT and preACT can both predict the student’s SAT and ACT scores. Then the instructor described how both standardized tests are like. For instance in ACT, math would be harder than the SAT, but the questions would be more straightforward. For reading sections, if the student prefers reading blogs or works written by contemporary essays, then ACT would be a better choice. If the students read a diverse selection of books, then doing the SAT would be a pleasant choice. At the end of the instructor’s speech, he reminded the students to focus on the academics first. Around the ending of the lecture, Ms. Zhang Nan notified the SAT and ACT test dates.
From the lecture, students had a comprehensive view on the standardized tests and the students should pay attention to the two standardized tests.
