High School Economic Department: Faculty's Seminar

The teachers from the Economics department held a seminar on March 2nd at 14:40 in the Xianmian Building. Three topics were discussed during the meeting. First, Zhang Li, the head of department distributed the tasks involved around holding the “Economics Day” on March 29th. Several details were confirmed, including time schedule, site layout, prize-giving and the advertising among students.

After that, the teachers discussed the plan for “Global Citizen Day” on April 17th. The event was planned to be divided into two parts. In the first part, professors would be invited to give lectures to students and in the second part, teachers from the Economics, History and Psychology departments would discuss different global issues with students.

Lastly, the meeting dealt with the ongoing AdvancED certification. Time schedules of evaluations and other tasks were discussed. All the teachers actively participated in the discussion in order to provide students with the best study experience and resources.
