Grade 6: Dream House

We have a fun math homework assignment during the winter vacation called Dream House. Dream House is a task where we must design a house that we want to live in, and create a model. We were very absorbed by the production of our Dream house, and tried to make our Dream Houses special. We used a variety of materials to make them. Someone used gingerbread to make their house, some people used popsicle sticks, some people used Lego, and some people used cardboard boxes and clay to build their own Dream House. If the students are voted into the top three in their class, they may participate in the finals and win an award. We learned how to make and use a scale for the items in this homework. The task fully inspired our rich imaginations and creativity, and let us enhance our practical abilities. It was a very interesting winter vacation assignment!
