Primary Section: Fire Drill

On the afternoon on March 2nd, everyone in the Primary Section practiced a fire drill. When all the teachers and students heard the alarm, they all walked very quickly and quietly out of the building. To help the students respond more quickly if a real fire happens, the students were asked to go to their Chinese or English classroom and follow their subject teacher. Every student took the fire drill very seriously and nobody made fun of each other. The whole procedure took only one minute and thirty-five seconds which was really efficient. To help further, all the first graders made a bookmark about fire drill tips in Personal Growth class.

Fire drills are essential for everyone. The teachers want to make sure that every student knows how to protect him or her self as much as possible when he or she is in danger.
