Puxi Grade 3: Goal Setting

As the Chinese New Year came, the Puxi third graders started their new semester after winter vacation.

On the Personal Growth class of Week 2, Puxi third graders set their new goals for the new semester. A good goal must be SMART, which are the capital letters of Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Relevant, and Time-Bound.

After considerable thinking, students wrote down their school goals, home goals and personal goals on their own paper. Teachers and students will check whether they achieve goals or not after one month.

The main goal for students’ personal growth in the SHSID curriculum is to cultivate Independent Learners. Goal setting in Puxi third grade is the first step to encourage students to be a better person from the beginning of the new semester.

Teachers hope Puxi’s third graders can keep their goals in mind and try their best to accomplish their goals.
