Pudong Grade 5: Field Trip to the Traditional Chinese Medicine Museum

The 5th graders of Pudong campus had a special field trip to the Traditional Chinese Medicine Museum. To our students, this traditional medicine was as mysterious as Chinese mythologies, and something only to be read about in books. This was the first time that we experienced it so closely. The field trip gave us not only a better understanding of traditional medicine, but also a sounder understanding of the Chinese history and tradition. Although it was only half a day’s field trip, it changed our idea of the traditional Chinese medicine.
