Grade 6: Amazing Service Groups

In this new semester, all the teachers are trying their best to complete their tasks. The teachers also created different groups for us to join in. There is a newsletter group, a poster group, reading group, study group etc. Let’s see how these groups bring new responsibility and sense of achievement to students!

The job of Ms. Cui and Ms. Qian is to lead the poster group. In the poster group, students do their best to make posters for various fun activities. The members of the group always do their best to make wonderful posters. Joining the poster group is also a way to make friends, be united and listen to ideas from others.

Ms. Xie and Ms. Wang are the leaders of the newsletter group. Together, they give topics for each group member to write about. After we submit our news items to the teachers, they will publish our articles on SHSID Wechat subscription account. This is a great honor to have. Of course, after our news story is published, we get a little prize!

Ms. Liu from 6(4) is the leader of the behavior group. This group requires great responsibility. The members on duty stand in front of the school building to check if there are students bringing in drinks or snacks. At the same time, other members walk around the hallway to make sure nobody is breaking the school rules, such as using electronic devices, eating snacks or drinking drinks, fighting etc. Our every single move won’t be out of their sight!

Alone, Ms. Liu from 6(9) is responsible for the reading group. In reading group, you can share good books with your friends or read quietly. But don’t believe that the reading group is pure reading! Sometimes, they even have small parties. Watching movies, eating snacks– how great would that be!

Lastly, Ms. Liu from 6(10) is responsible for the study group. If you want to be good at studying and get a good score in your tests, it would be the most suitable to join the study club. The teacher will give you worksheets from higher level tests, which you can use as a practice or review sheets.

Do you still remember that Director Luo said we should involve ourselves in more activities? Why not relax and do something you like?
