Grade 9：Lecture by CTB Team Vajra

During lunch time on February 23rd, the CTB team ‘Vajra’ held their first lecture at 127 Zhongxing Annex Building. Vajra is currently researching how to raise social awareness about first aid. However, this lecture did not teach its audience specific first aid techniques, but rather it shared touching stories that we can all relate to. This lecture’s purpose was to make everyone realize first aid’s importance and to earn first aid its rightful place among the eyes of our teachers and students. Team Vajra consists of five members: team leader Tina Liu from 9(6), Tiffany Li from 9(4), Nicole Zhou from 9(4), Teresa Ma from 9(5), and Rachel Wu from 9(8). Vajra’s team members each went up the stage to present in depth on what first aid is, tragedies that occur without proper implementation of first aid, what we can do regarding first aid as high school students, what to look out for in first aid, and many other topics. Everyone took something away from the lecture.
