SHSID Was Awarded at Harvard Model UN Conference 2017 (Boston)

Over 3300 delegates from more than 40 countries gathered at Sheraton Boston Hotel during Jan. 26th to 29th， 2017. They went into 31 different committees to discuss about the most concerned global issues. They aimed to collaborate with the stance of the country they represent so as to find out the best solutions to those problems.

SHSID sent 8 delegates, representing the United States of America, to four EcoSco committees. Eight of them were divided into four groups by double delegating in United Nations Human Rights Council, Commission on Narcotic Drugs, International Atomic Energy Agency, and United Nations Office for Outer Space Affairs. After months of preparation, delegates presented the best of themselves in the conference. Their great performance was recognized by the organizing committee. Our delegates won "outstanding delegates" and "honorable mention". This is the fourth year that SHSID attended the overseas Model UN conferences and once again, SHSID became the only Asian school which won these awards. Congratulations to our delegates! You brought the SHSID pride abroad!
