High school: Business Courses Coming to High School

In order to give students more course choices, the economic department of the high school has recently introduced several new business courses. The course “Business Management” was initiated last year, aiming to give students direct experience in the business world. An “Accounting” course was also launched this semester. In the next school year, a “Finance” course will also come to SHSID for the first time. All the teachers in the economic department made great efforts to introduce many new courses. Teachers hope to give students more support in the college application process by providing students with more course selections. As it is coming to the end of this semester, students from “Business Management” expressed their opinions on the course:

“I have learned a lot about the business world in this course. It suits what I was looking for and the teacher helps out a lot. During the semester, we had a lot of class activities, which helped us to put what we learned into practice. So it is a class worth taking time for.” -- 11(6) George

“I think Business Management is a very useful course. Starting from the first class I was strongly attracted to this course, and through the study in this semester, I was shown a really interesting and exciting business world.” -- 11(6) David
