Pudong Grade 3: Chinese Text-Based Drama

Grade 3 students on Pudong’s campus enjoyed a Chinese drama performance on December 27, 2016. All students were from Native Chinese classes. Before the drama show, they spent a lot of time preparing in groups. Each student had a role to play in the drama. They also bought many nice costumes online. During the show, they used costumes that were specifically made for the story to demonstrate their story enthusiastically. With excellent facial expressions and gestures, the characters in the text came to life. The activity was beneficial to students’ communicational skills and their oral Chinese. It was a great experience!
