The Exhibition of Students’ Art Works

The exhibition of SHSID 1-12th grades students’ art works was held at art center in December.

Art education at Shanghai High School International Division incorporates the international art curriculum, combined courses of visual art category, IB and AP visual arts, and a variety of conventional art and art optional courses. During the teaching process, we focus on the cultivation of students' expressiveness, and the creativity in the study of art foundation. We encourage students to explore their potential as much as possible, and to create personalized and diverse work. This allows students to work without limits while creating their pieces. The forms of students’ art works are rich and colorful.

Compared to the previous exhibition, this exhibition shows art works of students from a large age span(from grade 1 to grade 12), from amateur to professional, art works of AP and IB high grade students, and works of primary school students. It is fully reflective of the art education and teaching ideas of SHSID.

According to the age of the students, painting styles, and other categories, the works in the exhibition are selected as representative works for appreciation and exchange.
