Principal Assistant News
Principal Assistant News
The principal’s assistants recently met up with Principal Ma to discuss several working ideas that he had. These included: the making of a student guidebook, a daily planner for students to use, and a tree design that would include characteristics of a successful student.
The candidates for the team took two months to work on mini projects that demonstrate their abilities as assistants, and also hint at what a principal’s assistant’s work is like. After creating two drafts, the mini projects have a lot of potential. We hope to see completed projects in the near future!
Within the three meetings that we have had, the team of principal’s assistants has changed significantly, with several people joining and leaving. The current team consists of the following people: Kevin He, Wilson Gao, Charlie Zheng, Simone Young, Raymond Cheng, Christopher Yang, Thomas Wu, Mayee Hsu, Evelyn Wan, and Frank Lin.
In order to legitimize the team, there are several plans for the future. For example, one plan is for the team to continue to develop the mini projects. It will also publish several news articles about the team itself, along with the work that it has done. It will also conduct surveys while working to help teachers understand the students and what they want from the school. Our hope is that this will help in maximizing the students’ experience.
