Puxi Grade 1: Hour of Code

All the first-graders in SHSID had the chance to spend a very meaningful and unforgettable afternoon with “Lead Creative Apple” members on December 29th. These trainers came to all six of the classrooms to teach the students how to play a basic coding game. The aim of the class is to help the students build basic concepts on computer coding, and to practice basic and easy coding for a game. All the teachers were very surprised to find out that the children were so quick to learn how to code in the game. During this one-hour class, all the students enjoyed themselves and learned a lot.

After the class, every student who participated received a certificate awarding his efforts during the coding class. Our hope is that some students may now be interested in computer coding!
