Puxi Grade 5: The Fifth and Sixth Grade Book Donation
Puxi Grade 5: The Fifth and Sixth Grade Book Donation
For the past two weeks, the 5th and 6th grade ASB members have been collecting book donations on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. The books will be donated to a school in Qing Hai Province. SHSID is donating books because the students there have already read their few reading books many times. Everyone who donated more than 3 books will receive an orange, green, grey, or yellow rubber band which says” I Love SHSID”. It is certain that a number of people have joined our donation currently.
The ASB members had many jobs during the book donation. We were in charge of moving desks and chairs out before collecting books. ASB members helped tie up books in bundles and stacked them up in piles to store in lab building. When people donated books, ASB members wrote down their name, class, and the number of books they donated. To our delight, the highest amount of books donated by a person was 48 books.
We are so pleased that we had this opportunity to get involved in charity. It was great to see the SHSID students show their generosity in book donation.
