International Division High School Math faculty's fourth research and development seminar

On the afternoon of Dec.14, the International Division High School Math faculty held their fourth research and development seminar in Xianmian Building Room 211. First, Ms. Liu Qin asked the new teachers to raise their questions about test paper design that they bumped into in the past 1 to 2 years, and to share what they had learned. Then she systematically analyzed the characteristics that a good test paper should have in terms of validity, reliability, difficulty and differentiation. She also emphasized the measures that teachers should take, and the things that teachers should beware of, in the process of test paper design. Finally, with the first draft and the final version of their most recently designed test papers, the new teachers discussed the reasoning of such adjustment and what they can learn from it.
