Donation to I-Fly Rural Teachers Training Project from First Grade in SHSID

December 12th will be a memorable day for all of the first grade teachers and students at SHSID because they welcomed some teachers and students from an undeveloped mountain area primary school in Yun Nan Province as special guests. They were invited to visit our school and accept the donation from grade one SHSID. All the donations came from the Charity Fair which was held in November.

Our guests looked around the beautiful campus, visited grade one English class, and even had lunch with our first graders. All of our first grade teachers and students treated our guests very warmly.

During the assembly time, our guests from Yun Nan received the donations from our student representatives from each class. Each first grader in SHSID has realized that giving and sharing is so pleasant. All of the teachers and students were deeply touched by the poverty situation in some rural areas in China and the great sacrifice that the teachers there have made to help these poor children. Everyone in SHSID was taught a very unforgettable lesson on loving and sharing.

All the teachers believe that this will be a very meaningful and profound experience for every first grader. Every student understood the meaning of charity vividly and deeply.
