Puxi Grade 2: Story Mom

On December 8th, story moms brought the second graders a meaningful story, “Silly Goose PiDuNi.” One day, PiDuNi found a book on the grass. He used to hear people say that ‘If you have books and love books, you will be very intelligent.’ PiDuNi also wanted to be knowledgeable so he carried this book all day. Then, he became more arrogant and his neck became longer. Other animals noticed PiDuNi’s changes and thought PiDuNi was smart. They asked PiDuNi for help, but PiDuNi always provided bad ideas and caused serious injuries to himself and other animals. Why did they have injuries? It was because PiDuNi never opened this book, he did not recognize characters and did not understand this book at all. Finally, PiDuNi became determined to study and believed that one day he would be smart and help other animals.
