Grade 11: College Lecture

On December 7th, students in 11th grade had a college lecture session during the first period in the afternoon. The purpose of this session was to give students insight on college choice by comparing and contrasting colleges from many different countries.

The lecture session was divided into two groups: US colleges and Non-US colleges. For both groups, renowned colleges and many of their strong majors were introduced. General admission requirements such as standardized test scores, test scores, extracurricular activity or linguistic ability were also explained, along with the application process. There were some application systems such as UCAS were also introduced.

Junior year is an important period for determining one’s life career and goals. In this aspect, the college lecture session was extremely useful for students.
