Puxi Grade 1: Eggcellent Baby

Since the teachers introduced the “Eggcellent Parent” activity on Dec, 5, they were surrounded with the questions like, “When are we going to have our baby egg?” Finally, on Thursday, Dec, 8, all the students got their egg babies with great caution. They made a safe and comfortable nest for the egg with a plastic cup and tissue paper. The kids need to take the egg baby wherever they go, both to school and back home. They need to do everything together with the egg, and then take pictures of all the moments. We hope that from the caring process, the kids will experience the love, along with the responsibility it requires to care for the egg. In the end, the students also need to use the “Creator Book” app that they learned in IT class to make a comic book. We are looking forward to seeing how many kids can be an “eggcellent” parent.

Everyday next week, all the first graders will come to school and back home with their baby every day. They are going to spend a lot of time together. They may play, have dinner and even sleep together. Hopefully every student will be a responsible parent.
