SHSID Stallions JV/U14 basketball team was entered into a Jr. NBA u14 tournament

The past two weekends the SHSID Stallions JV/U14 basketball team was entered into a Jr. NBA u14 tournament. The tournament was a great experience for all the teams as there were more than just competitive games to play. There were also fun games and stations like the skills challenge, knockout challenge, and the vertical stations. The first weekend of the tournament were placement games. The Stallions went 3-0 and placed first in their division. On the second weekend the Stallions won their semi final game that led to the championship game. The Stallions would face the Riptide in the final. The Stallions played a great final game, leading 13-5 by the end of the first half. The Riptide came back and almost tied it in the second half but the Stallions were resilient enough to stick it out with a 26-23 win over the Riptide. The SHSID Stallions came home with the first place trophy and coach of the tournament. Jeffrey Wu, of the SHSID Stallions, won the MOP (most outstanding player) award.
