Grade 6: 24-points Competition

During lunchtime on the 2nd of December, the 24 Points competition between 6(1) and 6 (6) started. 24 Points is a game where there are four randomly picked numbers, and people must use addition, subtraction, multiplication, division and parentheses to make the number 24. There were ten people in each team, and each of these ten people had to walk up to the board and answer a 24 Points question within 40 seconds. If they got it correct, they earned a point. Then, after the ten pairs of people went up to the board, the two teams answered a set of ten questions. Each of the team members could raise their hands and answer. Thanks to some clever students like Nikos, Nina and Michel, and some lucky guesses (when somebody said "no answer" and there was actually no answer), Class 6(6) won the competition, securing themselves a place in the next round. To all the students in Class 6(1): don't lose faith and try again next time!
