Pudong Grade 2: DEAR week

Last week, Pudong G2 students had their special ‘DEAR’ reading week again. 'DEAR' means 'drop everything and read'. That is to say, during the ‘DEAR’ week, the reading bell rings at different times every day. When the bell rings, students have to put down whatever they are doing and pick up a book to read. The reason we initially started this activity is to help the students cultivate a good reading habit. Now it seems that the popularity of the ‘DEAR’ week among students proves that there are plenty of ‘book worms’ hiding among their ranks. From the picture, we can tell that they enjoyed making friends with books this week.
