Grade 10: Decoding the Liberal Arts Experience

The school invited two teachers to introduce about the concept of the “Liberal Arts College” to all of the tenth graders. Historically, the “liberal arts” were subjects or skills that were considered essential and necessary for a free person to know in order to take an active part in civic life. Compared with public universities and private universities, liberal arts colleges are different in school administration, size, student focus, faculty focus and academic focus.

It’s essential for students to consider elements like curriculum, classroom interactions, resources, student services, return on investment and so on when they choose their liberal arts school to maximize their liberal arts school experiences. It is also mentioned that in the list of 20 schools with the highest average career-long earnings, there are 9 liberal arts colleges or universities, indicating the significance and abundant resources that the liberal arts college brings.
