Puxi Grade 3: Here to Help
Puxi Grade 3: Here to Help
During Personal Growth class on November 30th, Here to Help (H2H Charity) gave a presentation to the third graders in the auditorium of the primary section. The school donated 10,000 RMB of the money we collected from the Charity Fair to this charity.
Founded in 2014, and focusing on the provision of mental health services for young people, Here to Help (H2H Charity) is committed to arousing people’s hearts toward goodness, trust and love, and striving to build friendliness, mutual support, a warm community. At present, their ongoing projects includes an Opening Course for Rural Areas, Community Libraries and Psychological Counseling.
Last semester, 10,000 RMB from our Charity Fair money went to this charity for building the Community Library. Also, our students donated hundreds of books to the library. Now, this Community Library is coming into service, which requires more volunteers to mop, sweep, clean the library and put away and sort library books. The teachers from H2H expressed their appreciation to us and also encouraged our third graders to be volunteers. At the end of the presentation, each class chose one student to put our money into donation box.
Charity is to help those who in are in need of warmth and kindness. We hope our kids can be more aware of the importance of sharing, helping and passing on love.
