Inspiration, Ignite Passion--The SiNan Chinese Literature Society of Middle School

With the help of Ms.Chen and the love of the children, the Si Nan Chinese Literature Society is growing step by step. This semester, Si Nan transforms from after-class Society into a creative elective course. Students who participate in the club are very enthusiastic. They gather every Wednesday to read , learn writing skills and share their works. Creative writing becomes a benign and continuous process in the club. This state creates a free writing atmosphere which is both comfortable and effective for producing interesting work.

In addition, as an important platform, the Si Nan Chinese Literature Society WeChat public number (sinan_SHSID) regularly publishes students’ original works and theoretical articles on writing. Students’ original works were edited into a magazine in Summer 2016, attracting lots of attention from students, teachers and parents who love literature. This platform not only stimulates the students’ love of writing and brings out their strengths, but also provides a supplement for students who enjoyed writing and failed to participate in the creative elective courses.

It has been three years since the Si Nan Chinese Literature Society began, looking for magic in the literary world. All of Chinese teachers from middle school will try every way to ignite the children’s literature fireworks, letting more children who love creation absorb nutrition, write freely and make full use of this great literary resource.
