High School History Department Meeting

On November 25th, 2016, all the high school history teachers gathered together in room102 in the Xian Mian Building. The meeting centered on how to organize efficient activities during class. Two teachers, Ms Amanda Hammack and Mr Brandon Lang shared their experience in teaching, especially activities they have used successfully in class.

They prepared handouts for all the teachers which gave a detailed introduction of a list of activities like Foldable, Visual Notes / Sketch Noting, Exit Ticket / Entrance Ticket, Graphic Organizer, Stations, Gallery Walk, Jigsaw, Headbands, Graffiti Walls, Brain Dump, Top 5 Takeaways, Iceberg Diagrams, and the required materials and purposes.

These activities are created for the students from different ability levels, for teachers to apply flexibly and make the classroom atmosphere more vivid.
