Puxi Grade 3: Story Mom

November 24 was Thanksgiving Day. To let kids know more about the meaning of appreciation, our story moms brought the kids a story called A Chair for My Mother during Personal Growth class on Thursday.

In the story, a sudden fire burned down a little girl’s house. Fortunately, her loving grandmother and kitten survived. By working hard, they finally rebuilt their home. The story started with a disaster, but had a happy ending. The students loved it.

After the story, students were required to make a promise about one thing they planed to do for their family, such as saving money to buy a coat for their Dad or buy a pair of gloves for their younger sister. Also, they used a star to stand for their promises and put the star into a beautiful jar.

We hope our kids can fulfill their promise and always be thankful for their life!
