Puxi Grade 3: Chinese Idiom Competition

On Monday, November 28th, Grade 3 Native Chinese students held their special Chinese idiom competition.

The native Chinese students were challenged to identify and recite entire Chinese idioms according to a hint from the teacher or a picture clue, or to explain the meaning of an idiom. All the students took active participation in the competition. If one of them got the correct answer, they always gave a warm round of applause.

Chinese idioms are widely used in Chinese listening, speaking, reading and writing. This Chinese idiom competition was aimed at helping students consolidate their understanding and use of Chinese idioms.
