Grade 8: A Fierce Dodgeball Competition

On Thursday, November 24th, 8th Grade hosted a dodgeball competition between all the classes in the eighth grade. Students formed teams and competed with the other classes. Throughout the whole process, students learned tactical skills for dodgeball, teamwork, and most importantly– they had fun. Not only students competed in the game; teachers also had chances to go on and play. Special games, including teachers vs. students were part of the fun.

Before the game, the classes randomly drew a piece of paper with a number written on it. The number determined the two classes who would compete in the first round. After the first round, the winning team continued and the losing team was eliminated. This process continued until there were only two teams left. The team that finally won became the champions of the dodgeball competition. After the winner was chosen, different games began.

This year, the final winner was 8(3). The second and the third were class 8(9) and class 8(5). Many elite players participated in the dodgeball competition and dazzled us with their skills. Teachers were also really active during the competition. Students were fighting for their team, and they were trying their best.

The dodgeball competition ended in 90 minutes. Although many students were exhausted, they did have a lot of fun. Their memories of laughter, cheering, and the joy of triumph will always be cherished.
