Puxi Grade 3: Writing a Letter of Thanks

Last week, native Chinese students were required to write a Letter of Thanks to those who care for and helped them. This assignment was given not only with the purpose of practicing how to write letters, but also intended to teach kids the meaning of appreciation.

Students regarded this writing very seriously. Teachers were deeply impressed by their Letters of Thanks. Some students are thankful for their parents, who have been meticulously taking care of them since they were born. Some appreciate their classmates for giving them a hand when they fell down or got in trouble.

During Chinese class on Friday, students needed to write their letters on letter paper prepared by the teachers and give their letters to those whom they are thankful for. We hope our kids can be more aware of the importance of gratitude.
