Grade 6: Sports Meet Awarding Ceremony

In Room 104 of the New Art Building, the results of the Sports Meet were finally revealed to the 6th grade students. Last Friday, a lot of talented athletes were awarded gleaming medals in bronze, silver or gold. For instance, in Class 6(6), Vicky, Yutaka, and Chantelle were awarded bronze or silver medals. Some people even got three or more medals! The students received their medals for completing many activities, including the long jump, medicine ball, 100m sprint, 400m relay race and more. During the Sports Meet, these students had been running and jumping for hours under the sweltering heat of the sun. The efforts of the students finally paid off. One student remarked, “I’m so happy that I got a medal.” For most of the students, the Sports Meet was an enjoyable and rewarding activity that allowed them to do their best. Everyone is looking forward to the next sports meet and hoping that it will be as enjoyable as the last. Congratulations to all the medal-winners!
