SHSID Won Apple Distinguished Program

On the morning of November 14, the principal of SHSID, Mr. Liu received a formal email informing that SHSID has gained the honor as Apple Distinguished Program Year 2016-2018 (ADP). This honor aims at encouraging and supporting the groups that keep developing the iPad learning environment for innovation, leadership and educational excellence.

Under the promotion from the ex-principal of SHS, Mr. Tang, SHSID began its iPad teaching trial on grades 1, 2 and 3 from School Year 2011. Every teacher who was involved spent so much time and energy trying all kinds of good iPad apps which were useful for class teaching, participating in different trainings, and discussing a lot during daily teaching. Ms. Zhu, Ms. Pu and Ms. Zhang from the primary section, SHSID were all excellent educators on iPad teaching and they gained the honor of Apple Distinguished Educator(ADE) last year.

The Principal of SHS, Mr. Feng, made a brief speech about applying for ADP. The principal of SHSID, Mr. Liu, often offered much valuable guidance on daily iPad teaching. Under the great efforts of all school leaders and teachers in SHSID, iPad teaching will help a lot on forging energetic and efficient classes in SHSID. This honor will encourage everyone to work even harder on our educational aim: Independent Learner in Every Aspect.
