Shanghai Students and Faculty Ceramic Works Exhibition 2016

2016 Shanghai Students and Faculty Ceramic Works Exhibition at the Liuhaisu Art Museum Branch opened in October. The exhibition currently displays 258 pottery works, which show the rich imagination of teachers and students.

Mr Huang Minhua, Deputy Director of the Putuo District Education Bureau opened the ceremony. He said: "I hope the majority of teachers and students will become interested in ceramic art and its history. I hope they can improve their artistic accomplishments, develop their unique personalities, cultivate their practical abilities, their imagination, their creativity, and their artistic appreciation by learning and playing with ceramic art, and so carry forward the Chinese nation's outstanding traditional culture by creating more beautiful ceramic art works."

Zoe Li, an art teacher at our school, won the First Prize in the teachers’ category for her ceramic work. Tang Fei, Hu Tingxuan, Zhou Weirou and other students won 2nd prize, 3rd prize, and an honorable mention respectively.
