Two Outstanding U.S High Schools visited SHS and SHSID

At the beginning of November, 2016, two outstanding high schools from U.S.A., Cate School and Phillips Exeter Academy visited Shanghai High School and Shanghai High School International Division.

On Nov. 3rd 2016, Principal Williams and Ms. Charlotte Brownlee from Cate School visited Shanghai High School International Division.

On Nov. 5th 2016, a delegation from Phillips Exeter Academy led by Principal Lisa MacFarlane visited Shanghai High School and Shanghai High School International Division.

Upon their arrival, they received a warm welcome from Principal Feng Zhigang, Head of Shanghai High School and Shanghai High School International Division, and Principal Ma Feng, SHSID High School Principal. Guided by Principal Feng and Principal Ma, the two delegations visited the History Exhibition Hall, Gymnasium, Science Building, Drama Center, etc. They also watched the 150th Anniversary Promo Video at the Drama Center, which provided guests with a comprehensive view of SHS and SHSID.

After the campus tour, a talk was held in a practical and friendly atmosphere. Principals exchanged ideas on education missions, challenges, school specialties, etc, aiming to have a better understanding of schools in both countries and culture.
