Grades 9-10: Parent School

On the afternoon of October 27th, more than twenty parents from Grade 9-10 were invited to school for the Parent-School workshop. Ms. Min Liu, Director of Grade 9-10, was the host and speaker of this workshop. Ms. Qing Liu, director of Grade 11-12, came to answer questions and concerns from parents.

Students of Grade 9-10 are at the beginning of high school and are in their crucial moment of personality and behavioral habit development. Ms. Min Liu presented her four key phrases in her speech. They were:

• “Independent learner”

• “Developer of one’s potential”

• “Explorer of one’s future”

• “Diligent introspector”

The spirit and quality that students of Grade 9-10 should develop was clarified.

Thanks to the Parent-School program, parents now know much more about the school and are going to work well alongside SHSID staff for their children’s future development.
