AP Physics Senior Experience Sharing Session

On the 20th of October, the senior Matthew Zhang came to a Junior AP Physics class to introduce his research entitled: "Application of type IA supernovae to improve Hubble diagram regression precision". He conducted this research at the RSI organization this summer. The senior explained his experience at the Tsing Hua University, and the details of developing his project, including the mathematical equations, graphs, and sources he used. His project not only stressed the importance of originality, but also the core ideals of functionality and its significance. The explanation amazed the AP students as the senior informed them of his project. The astrophysics realm in which the senior researched created a sense of awe among the students; inspiring in many a desire to themselves participate in the RSI program.
