Grades 7-8: Charity Fair

On last Thursday, October 27th, the seventh and eighth graders held their exciting and fun charity fair. There were three floors of stands that included fish and meatball stands, choker shops, and the most popular stand–the pie smashing lottery game. You buy a entry ticket and you get to smash 8th grade ASBs. If you won the lottery you can also smash the pie into your teacher. Then there comes the grand prize: if you are the highest bidder for the grand prize, you get to smash the school director Mr.Ni. Isn't that just exciting?

The 7th & 8th grade charity fair was a big success. The stands were fun. Everyone could buy a lot of things at this fair, and all proceeds went to charity. One of the hottest stands was the fish ball stand and also the choker and tattoo stand. All kinds of clubs and homerooms have their own stands too like 7(10). Overall this was a exciting and adventurous Charity fair.

Charity fair is a time not only for students to learn about caring, but also a time for them to learn proper money management, and the art of purchasing. The store keepers were striving to make profits by making posters and shouting advertisements. The buyers worked hard to convince the store managers that they should lower their price. Thanks to everyone for participating in the Charity Fair!
